This series contains various letters and official greetings of congratulations from mainland and international colleges and universities regarding Matsuda’s inauguration as President of the University of Hawaii. Some are very elaborate with college seals and colored ribbons. It also includes letters from Senator Daniel Inouye and Rep. Patsy Mink.
