Scope and Contents
This series includes applications, supporting materials, and reports involving federal grants to both private and public groups in Hawaii. Most folders have been labeled with the name of the granting agency and the name of the grantee or project. The series also includes a large number of public works projects, such as harbors or erosion and flood control projects, as well as public housing projects.

Conditions Governing Access
Material with personal information may be redacted by the Archives staff. Some fragile items may need to be handled by the staff only. Use of audiovisual material may require the production of listening or viewing copies. Records in the Case Files series as well as the Family and Household subseries within the Personal series are restricted except by permission of the Congressional Papers Archivist.
