Biography

 Series
Identifier: MANUSCRIPT UA00002

Scope and Contents

This series consists of all the materials collected after Marion Saunders’ death. Much of the materials relate to a tribute to the from the University of Hawai‘i, a Women’s History Month Exhibit, and renaming of the Social Sciences building to Saunders Hall.

It is very likely that these materials were collected by Mary Anne Raywid. She was a co-worker and a great friend of Saunders, who lived with Saunders towards the end of her life. In addition, much of the correspondence found in this series is addressed to or written by Raywid.
