[Kalaheo, Kauai] So far has painted two landscapes and two watercolors; describes them. Excited about going to Europe, even though doesn’t have enough money. Should be wealthy with “glorious experience of life and studies, then can demand more respect. Parents are very supportive. His N.Y. art dealer wants more of his prints. Doi hasn’t done much work lately and has lost customers because of this. Says cubism is not dead and it still thrills him. Comments on big N.Y artists and their work. Will print “East Wind” on some Japanese paper a friend sent from N.Y.
