Container Summary
[Paris; 1st page on Grand Café Coquet letterhead] He writes while sipping coffee in the Grand Café Coquet in Montmartre. Has catalogue of the Rheinhardt Gallery with his two watercolors. May 12: Has an appointment with Mrs. Hemingway. Complains of no luck with publicity in Paris for his works, rejection from some galleries, his poor French language skills. French magazine “Art and Life” asked him for photos and documents of his life and work. Feels like a Parisian but is often blue and longs for friends far away.
