Due to their sizes appear to be the cards Wilson read off for his speeches. While many are for UH related functions, many are to civic, professional, and educational groups, i.e. high school PTAs, women's organizations, Association of Life Underwriters of Hawaii (which includes (2) 2.5" x 3.5" b&w photo prints of the event, 1945. Most card indicate event and date but some are undated and lack event or audience, i.e. "Negro spirituals." Included are handwritten notes of quotes or news clippings Wilson used to incorporate into speeches. Two speeches were rehoused due to their size (8.5" x 11") for preservation to Box 3:34
