Scope and Contents
Dying in a Strange Land is the fourth and final novel in Milton Murayama’s tetralogy about the Oyama Family. This novel continues the narratives built up in the preceding three novels and is told from the point of views of Kiyo, Tosh, and Sawa Oyama. This sub-series contains several early partial drafts and complete manuscripts. There are also folders containing book proofs and book reviews for this novel.

Arrangement
This sub-series is arranged chronologically according to the order in which drafts were written. Chronological order was determined by dates (when provided), completion status, the type of paper used (lined notebook vs. unlined) and by comparing and tracking edits between the drafts.
