Murayama Genealogy Documents, circa 2000 - 2016
Scope and Contents
This folder contains documents pertaining to Murayama family history. These documents include essays about family members, a document about the origin of the Murayama family name, genealogies written in Japanese, and photocopies of a few photographs. Notably, one of the essays on family members was written by Edwin Murayama, Milton's older brother and the inspiration for the character Tosh in the Oyama tetralogy. This is the only location in the collection where readers can encounter Edwin and experience his voice through paper.
