Contains a speech given to the Friends of He'eia State Park regarding the elements that shaped Native Hawaiian attitudes toward their environment and relations with one another, as well as information on Kukuiokane Heiau. Also incorporates three additional speeches by Marion Kelly about a personal anecdote from the Kāneʻohe region, the ahupuaʻa lifestyle, and the restoration of Heʻeia Fishpond.
