Dr. Albert J. Simone served as the President and Chancellor of the University of Hawaii System from 1984 – 1992. This collection contains the entirety of his files in those offices. The bulk of the files are ordered alphabetically in Boxes 1-46. The boxes for these were labeled at the time of the accession to the UH Archives. Boxes 47-51 contain personal materials, and files on the UH Budget and the Holo Holo Investigation. Boxes 52-79 use another level of organization; they are alphabetically listed under the categories of University of Hawaii at Manoa (UHM), Board of Regents (BOR), United States Government (USG), State Government (SG), and General (GEN). His speeches complete the last two document boxes of the collection.
