Pacific Ephemera Collection
Scope and Contents
The Pacific Ephemera Collection (previously known as the Pacific vertical file), consists of ephemera covering all topics from and about the Pacific Islands regions of Melanesia, Micronesia, and Polynesia. Formats includes brochures, pamphlets, flyers, stickers, and newspaper clippings. Posters, maps and other large format items are also included, but are housed separately.

Arrangement
The Pacific Ephemera Collection is arranged first geographically. Each Pacific Island country and territory is a distinct series. Any material that pertains to more than one country or territory are located by sub-region (Melanesia, Micronesia, Polynesia), or in Oceania if it concerns more than one sub-region. Within each geographic series is a consistent set of sub-series based on ten broad topical categories.
