Scope and Content Note
This sub-subseries is composed of a single collection of clippings from the Honolulu Advertiser and Honolulu Star-Bulletin on the subject of evacuation of civilians from bombed areas of Oahu after the Pearl Harbor attacks and from Hawaii to the mainland. It also contains articles about bomb shelters and protection from air raids. The creator of the scrapbook is unknown. The scrapbook’s cover, which contained rusted metal fasteners, has been removed.
