This volume is the marked and corrected copy of the English translation of the French work titled, Quartorze ans aux iles Sandwich, created by Charles Victor Crosnier de Varigny. The English version was translated by Alfons Korn and published in Honolulu by the University Press of Hawaii and Hawaiian Historical Society in 1981.

Franz A. Ballaseyus Papers
Personal papers of Franz A. Ballaseyus, a pianist, organist, conductor, and music teacher, who briefly worked in Honolulu as director of the Oahu College (now Punahou School) music program and the Honolulu Symphony Society. The collection includes documents from Ballaseyus’s naval career, a diploma and marriage certificate, and scrapbooks recording his musical activities.
French nuclear testing collection
This collection consists of materials relating to French nuclear testing that date from July 1995 to February 1996. It primarily includes photocopies of newspaper articles published in the United States and internationally. Also included are statements made before the U.S. Congress, press releases, and other materials from anti-nuclear organizations.
