Gregg M. Sinclair Papers were received by the UH Library over a number of years. The collection reflects his significant roles at the University starting with his employment in 1928 as a member of the English faculty. From 1935-1940 he threw his energy into developing the Oriental Institute, and in 1941 he was made President of the University. He remained in this positon for the next fifteen years retiring in 1956.
