The personal papers of artist Charles Cohan span his work as studio printer, printmaker, instructional material from his work as a university faculty member, and his early interests as a semi-professional athlete active in sailing, skiing and skateboarding. Archival materials include the following subjects: sketchbooks (1982-2023), teaching notebooks, catalogs, announcements, travel, presentations with art slides, and lectures and papers with slides.

Scope and Contents The personal papers of David Guy Asherman came to the University of Hawaii library together with the personal papers of Juliette May Fraser from their primary former residences. The collection contains biographical material and original outgoing and incoming personal correspondence. The bulk of the correspondence dates primarily from the 1960s. The majority of the prints depict Hawaiian mythology and traditions in a distinctive style that is widely recognized. The Dodie Warren Collection contains over 80 original fine art prints which demonstrate the artist's mastery of mezzotint and photogravure processes. There are also collaborative artist print portfolios, copper printing plates, and sketchbooks.
