Correspondence and lists of signatures for the expatriation petition drive across the islands of the Central Campaign Committee of the Hawaiian-Japanese Civic Association of which Sakamaki was the Executive Secretary. Newsclippings annoucing the petition and its intent. Mailing list of organizations to secure signators and corresondence from many of these organizations articulating their degrees of success. A few papers are written or published in Japanese. Letter to Sakamaki from U.S. Representative Samuel King in receipt of this letter affirms King will present the petition to the Secretary of State, 1941. Letters of support without signators included. The last folder includes newsclippings, primarily on English with one in Japanese.
